Randal's Story
I did not attend graduation because I joined the Navy in November 1979 after finishing my Senior year via correspondence course living in a tent while working on a gold mine in Montana. (It was getting cold in Montana and the recruiter said he could send me to San Diego.) I received my CHS diploma in the mail while serving on an aircraft carrier in the Caribean.

ude in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington. I worked as a Structural Engineer at Boeing Commercial Airplanes for 26 years. I am now retired and living in Phoenix.
I drove through Carson City in June 2019. I hadn't been there for about 10 years. I no longer have any family connections there, but it really felt comfortable to just be there. I'm considering moving back to Carson.
