Randall's Story
Well its time to tell my story. Montclair High was along time ago, but it doesn't feel that long ago. So much has happened to all of us, some good and some not so good. I feel that I have been one of the lucky ones. When I graduated from Montclair High, I married Janice Kays, had a baby we named Kelly and I dug ditches. After I dug ditches for 2 years I decided that I did not want to that the rest of my life.
Went to Chaffey Collage, got my aircraft and power plant mechanic licenses. Along with a pilots license, I was off to a wonderful Career in aviation. Had another baby, Christine. We did a lot of moving back then.Went to Utah, Arizona, Washington and Oregon. Settled down in Arizona, I love it here!
Janice and I went our separate ways and I was single for 2 years. Met Pat Plunkett form Buffalo, New York. Pat has 3 young kids, Christian, Jamie, and Brenda....Expand for more
We called ourselves the "Corson Bunch", 3 girls and 2 boys. All the kids have been busy and we now have 11 grand kids.
Pat and I started Corson Motorcar Company, (Google it). Built 77 Corson cars and a lot of car parts. Got tired of the car business and went back to flying full time.
I have been flying and running a flight department in Scottsdale for the same company for the past 29 years. I'm 68 years young and have no plans to retire. Good health, great family and a wonderful job, I am one of the luckiest guys in the world.
I have never lost my passion for cars and boats, that is my hobby. If I'm not with the family or gone for work, I'm in my man cave. Busy hands are happy hands.
I often think of my old friends and the crazy things we did in our youth. I listen to good old time rock and roll.
