Randall's Story
After an 18 year stint in law enforcement and a 20 year career in financial services, I became a Registered Investment Advisor in 2005 and trimmed my business down to a part time investment only basis. In 2006, not liking so much time on my hands I went back to school at MATC and got an Associate Degree in Respiratory Care. I worked at Waukesha Memorial and then St Francis Hospitals, mostly in the Emergency Room and ICU as a Therapist / Code Team member part time. In 2013 decided to take a summer off from hospital work, but ended up needing to take care of my now 6 year old twin grandsons (The Twinados) as my daughter became confined to a wheelchair with M.S., and her husband went AWO that Fall Have lived in Mukwonago, WI since 1975 but will probably soon move to the Sheboygan area to be better able to help with the grandsons, and perhaps then will look for part-time work as a Therapist, as it and Investment Advisor are both...Expand for more
labors of love. Fortunately my wife Barb and I did extensive traveling while we were working so we are not feeling confined that way, but still enjoy short vacations in a favorite place in Door County and other nearby destinations. We are also very active in our Church were I served as Treasurer for 13 years. I am also the President of a Catholic Monastery in California, and its Investment Advisor so I have an excuse to travel there on business, although I have come to hate flying after doing it so much since 1985. This is too bad because we miss our many friends in Ireland. Barb, my wife of 46 years, (MIlwaukee Lutheran HS Class 1965) worked for the US Government, in Real Estate, and retired as an Administrative Law Adjudicator with the State of Wisconsin in 2013. I am also on the Class of 1965 Reunion Committee and have really enjoyed helping on those parties. Hope to see everybody again in 2016 for a 51st get together.
