Randall's Story
After graduation, yes I actually did graduate. I know, my picture isn't in the yearbook, I wasn't there that day. I moved out to Chicago to go to school. That didn't work out too well for me, I was never a very good student, little did I know that I was actually a very good worker. I got a part time job at a company called Helene Curtis and I started as a part time box maker at $2.22 an hour. I met my first wife, got married and turned that job into full time. I had one son, Robert and after almost 5 years I got a divorce. I met and married Karen, she worked at Helene Curtis also. We have been married about 33 years now. Helene Curtis was sold to Unilever and I stayed with that company for a total of almost 38 years before the closed my facility down and now I am sort of retired since no o...Expand for more
ne will even interview a 59 yr old man. I ended my career there as a Packaging Analyst, I ran the Packaging Lab for Unilever and actually had a very successful career even without a degree. My wife has an excellent job and so far she is able to fend for us, thank goodness in this economy. I try to get back to New York every other year, not so much since my parents are gone now. But we like to come out at State Fair time. I love Las Vegas, Disney World and anyplace that has a casino near it. Like Syracuse.
