Life My Job Fun and exciting. As an Electrician you do something different all the time. I got lucky and got hired to go to the South Pole, Antartica to work for a year. Oct 2003 to Nov. 2004. . As an update, I hooked up with this company Raytheon and just got back from Antarctica again in Nov 2005 and will probably go back in Sept 06. It is a really neat place to see. I have been to all the US bases in Antarctica and hopefully this fall I will get to visit other country's stations down there as well.
