Life
After graduating Wilson, went to Camden County College, and then Spring Garden College (PA). Graduated in 1972 with a BSEE. Worked for some local engineering companies, but have been with a small electronics plant in Phila, specializing in the medical field, since 1976. Married in 1982; have one daughter, born in 1985. Stayed in Camden until 1968, then moved to Collingswood for a few years. In 1973, moved to the Village of Pine Run (Blackwood) for about 12 years. Built a home in Cherry Hill during 1984/85, and moved in April 1, 1985. New car, new house, new baby.... After all these years, still like most kinds of music, and drag race (at Atco) freqently. Have been involved with the Cherry Hill Office of Emergency Mangagement (the old Civil Defense) and have been a member of the Cherry ...Expand for more
Hill Rent Review board, since moving to Cherry Hill. Daughter now entering Drexel U (09/05).
College
Spring Garden College was a great starting point for getting into the business world. Sadly, it closed its doors after 157 years of continuous operation in 1999. While primarily a commuter school, it offered everything I could ever want in a college. Good memories and good times.
Workplace
Putting in 28 years at the same place doesn't even seem possible these days! I guess I enjoy my work <g>. I design medical electronic equipment (electosurgical generators). It's "black art" engineering many times, since there are no written rules for this type of design, and there are challenges at times, but I go home at the end of the day knowing that I helped save or extend someone else's life.
