Randy's Story
Life
I graduated college w/a B.F.A in Technical theatre degree and membership in a great Fraternity. I have been working steadily in the entertainment industry ever since, after working professionally for 5 years in Columbus, I moved to Los Angeles (haven't gotten shot at...yet)and have been working in the Film Industry at a Special Effects company, New Deal Studios, for about seven years now. We build miniatures for film as well as do various other visual & mechanical effects (basically things that move around and go BOOM!) er releases - The Dark Knight, IronMan, The Mummy 3, Live Free or Die Hard, Hancock. Resident Evil 3, and the Halo 3 Believe Museum. I am also working as a Professional Photographer/Videographer, Film Editor, Digital Effects Artist, Film Compositor, and Theatre/Special Events Electrician, basically anything and everything I can get my hands into out here. Aside from all of that, I am loving living on the West coast lots of Sun, warm weather, and just about every different ecological climate at your finger tips. In otherwords..... you can go Skiing in the morning and Surfing in the afternoon if you want to. Can you really beat that?
