Randy's Story
Life
I was not a good student at WHS and I had a bad attitude in those days(Dad was right). We used to complain about how boring Fremont was.Looking back the Fremont of the 1960's was actually a pretty great place to live.In fact it would be pretty impossible to find a place like that today. You don't know what you got till it's gone.
My favorite memories from that era was sneaking off to see classic music at the Fillmore West.Incredible shows you could see for $3.It is amazing to think that Santana and Quicksilver played at our High school. We were lucky to have such great music.

ollowing Dennis Eckersley's career.Every one knew that Dennis was a special player but I don't think anyone would have projected the Hall of Fame.Pretty good for a kid from Fremont.
I am also proud that my friends from High School have been life long friends.
I retired a few years ago from the Teamsters Union.Nice to have a pension.I go to a lot of ball games and music shows.I guess I still like a lot of what I liked back then.
I have 3 grand kids and they are great. They do keep you young.
In some ways I am happier today than I have ever been.Life has had it's ups and downs but right now it's great to be alive!
