Randy's Story
Having lived in Hong Kong for the last 12 years I have created an executive leadership coaching and consulting company that is expanding into mainland China. Recent appointment as International Ambassador for the Maple Womens Psychological Counseling Society for abused women and working with the survivors of the Sichuan Earthquake in giving PTSD treatment for first line rescue workers, as well as the children and adult survivors. We are currently gathering letters from children in America to deliver to the children of Sichuan Province to let them know personally that other children across the water really do care about them. I have been working with Dr. David Tharp M.D. and Pyscho-Therapist, to train volunteers on how to recognize PTSD and give counseling to the victims of this disaster and begin the process of rebuilding their lives.
I was invited by the State Council in Beijing to be a founding member of the Matrix Lobbying and Consulting Organization in Hong Kong, an organization for the retired government workers in Hong Kong. This organization will be responsible for bringing Chinese culture to Hong Kong and overseas countries through organizing athletic events coupled with cultural educational information and insight.

he try-outs for the Olympic Cheerleading teams in Beijing. We have raised 2 million RMB, to support the Paralympics Cheerleading team. This is the first time ever a "wheel-chair" cheerleading team will perform in the Olympics as well as in the Paralympic Games which follow the Olympics in Beijing.
My two daughters, Lindsey, who is 26 now, and Tara, who is 30, are getting married in July and August respectively. My son Alex, who is 19, and a standout golfer for San Jose City College, resides in San Jose, California, where I spend 'not enough', but well spent time when home with my family.
Traveling and working in Asia for the past 12 years and Russia the 4 years previous, has had a negative impact on my golf game, but the will to get out there on the links whenever I can is ever present.
All is going well. I have pretty much traveled the world. I have missed out on africa and the middle east, but been just about everywhere else. Experiencing our global community has humbled my arrogance that I did not know I had, and made me realize my own insignificance in what is taking place in the world.
Living one day at a time, making a positive difference whenever and where ever I find myself, loving my family and enjoying my friends and the people around me.
