Randy's Story
This skateboard/surf kid still surfs (I live one mile from Newport Beach) but I graduated from skateboarding to snowboarding. Hmmmmmmm....with my skateboard/surf background in high school, maybe I was way ahead of this X-Games stuff, huh?
Professionally, I manage and lead a Mechanical Design/CAD team producing manufacturing solutions for a major medical device manufacturer that specializes in Cardiovascular disease, headquartered in Irvine. I am also Adjunct Faculty at Cerritos College, teaching Engineering Technology part time in the Spring semester each year. Its a great opportunity to give back to Cerritos, as they have been instrumental getting my degree and placing me in my first full time position. I have opportunities to teach in Orange County, but I always make the drive down to Cerritos in traffic to teach there.
Recently married to a wonderful person. I spend my free time playing in my band (bass guitar). Sorry I missed the 30th reunion, I had no idea when it occurred. Take care all, Randy :)
