I have been married and divorced twice. I have no idea if I will ever do that again. I try not to use the word "never". But I have two fine adult sons, one of whom is in Iraq with his National Guard unit. As a parent, I have learned that doing your best with what you have available at the time is more than sufficient. Do what you need to do with love in your heart, and the rewards will come. I spent 6 years in the Navy after high school. I then worked 20 years as a toolmaker in Minneapolis. I then entered college at the ripe old age of 47 and earned 3 degrees in 3 years, GPA 3.9. (I was a much better student in college than in High School). I was the oldest student in every class. This was uncomfortable, but I grew accustomed to it by the time I graduated. It will be a surprise to some of my High School classmates to know that I was the student body graduation speaker.
