Randy's Story

School I graduated from East Jefferson High School in 1977. We really had a great class. It was four years of fun. The only thing I regret is that at that time the school was all boys. The school didn't go co-ed until 1979. College I graduated from UNO in May 1996 with a BS in Accounting and a Minor in Management. After graduating, I sat for the CPA exam. After a few tries, I finally passed the exam and received my CPA certification. Workplace I am a CPA currently employed with the State of Louisiana Supreme Court, Judicial Administrator's Office. My position is, Deputy Judicial Administrator - Budget. I have been with...Expand for more
the court since September 1994. Prior to working for the court, and right after graduating from East Jefferson, I started working in the electrical field. I aquired my class "A" electrical license in 1986 and I still do electrical jobs after work and on the week-ends. Military I served in the Navy Reserve from January 1987 to January 1995 at the Belle Chasse Naval Base. Upon completion of my 8 years of service, I received an Honorable Discharge. My grade/rank was P03 (E4). My units main function was to repair the electrical components on the Navy's huge cargo planes. My unit was not called to active duty during the Gulf War.
