Randy's Story
Life
Graduated Puyallup HS 1964.
Attended UW until 1969, went to PLU, graduated in '71 and married Nancy Roberts (Clover Park '66.) Taught Conway WA 1 awful yr. Freelanced in Tacoma/Seattle and worked at Ft Lewis in civil service job until '76. went to Warden WA and taught 9 yrs. We had Kathryn ('76) and Luke ('80). Nancy died '84. Went to CWU '85-'86 for Masters and a girl (got MM, lost girl). Moved to Lakeview OR, here ever since. Played lots of music over the yrs in WA; not so much her...Expand for more

Married Patsy McCarthy (Lakeview '69) in 1991. She had 4 kids, then we had Laura in '93.
I enjoy making music when possible. Still play trombone when I can; play quite a bit of classical and "easy listening" guitar. Retired from band teaching at end of 04-05 school year but still teach elementary music part time. I run projector at local movie theater. It's good.
Committed myself to God in 1984; have had my ups and downs since but it has been easier knowing that He is what He says.
