My Pets
I have 3 dogs...Cassie, a Collie; Dixie, a Catahoula Leopard; and Maggie, a Leopard and Blue-Heeler mix. Cassie is the loveable one, Dixie hates everybody but she's a great watchdog and Maggie...I named her after a Magpie because she whines and barks relentlessly. Morris Morrison is my cat that I've had for about 12 years. He hangs on the window of my back door, about 3' off the floor and watches me at my computer. Sonny is my horses name. He's a registered Quarter Horse that kinda hung around after I got tired of showing Cutting Horses. He mainly just eats and sleeps.
My Kids
My oldest is Dustin. He'll be 19 in August this year. Everyone says he a spittin' image of me. I don't think so because he stays in too much trouble and I was NEVER in trouble. Actually he's a great kid and travels all over the country racing with me.
Crista is my baby(?). She'll be 16 in November. Straight 'A' student, never in trouble...much more like her Dad I think!
Both are from my first try at marriage. I've raised them both and wouldn't have had it any other way. They are my pride and joy and my 2 very best friends.
My Job
I've been a Paramedic for over 16 years now. 5 1/2 for Ware Co. EMS and 11 for Brantley Co. EMS, so far. I've been a Captain for the last 14 years combined. I also own/operate South Georgia Automotive. On my days off I do most all types of auto and truck repair and also some high performance stuff.

Well, it's been several years since I updated this so I guess it's about time to , not that anyone probably cares but here goes...

so grow about 200 acres of hay that I sell commercially. I got out of EMS altogether after 19 years. I miss helping people that were truly in need but I don't miss the drunks, the ones who couldn't sleep and the ones who thought that having a cold for more than 3 days warranted calling for an ambulance. I guess all along I knew my calling was to follow in my Dad's footsteps and be a farmer.
My wife, Sharon, and I adopted our niece this year. Her biological mom has a drug problem and when she had her in Savannah, DFCS stepped in and took her. We brought Sky home from the hospital 5 days later and she's blessed our lives every day since. Thank God she's legally ours now, name and all.
My oldest son Dustin is now married and has a son, Will, who is even more rotten than his Dad. I never thought that was possible but thanks to his Grands and Great Grands I guess anything is possible. He also has 2 sons from his marriage, Ryan and Dylan.
My oldest daughter, Crista, is a licensed cosmetologist and is pretty as a picture. She's still single, thank goodness.
Josh came as part of the wedding package and is 12 now. He's a straight-A student at Brantley Co. Middle School. As far as I'm concerned he's mine also. No step-stuff here.
And Skylar Grace (Sky), my baby daughter. She's 19 months now and has EVERYBODY wrapped.
I've pretty much quit racing. I still have all my toys but the farm requires most of my time. I guess I didn't do too bad though. I was the 2000 and 2001 Top Truck World Champion. We raced from Florida to Texas to Michigan to Maine and everywhere in between for several years. I miss the comraderie of my racing friends but it got to the point where it was about full time and driving a motorhome with a trailer behind it 25,000+ miles a year got to be a chore. Maybe later in life I can get back into it but for the time being, I couldn't be happier doing what I'm doing.
