ck another ancestor had fought along side the Continental Army at the Battle of Guilford Courthouse. I also learned that my grandmother's grandmother was half Sioux Indian and a member of the Lower Brule Tribe in South Dakota. And another branch on my grandmother's side I was able to trace back to 1495 England. While I am sure none of this interests very many, anyone who knew me, knew how interested in history I actually was. That is why I have spent so many years on this. To learn where we came from and what kind of people our ancestors were can tell us a lot about ourselves. Eventually I will finish the book and I can share all of this.
