Raphael's Story
Life
Well, I was born in Louisiana. Destrehan to be exact. I moved around a couple of times due to my parents divorce. I lived for a year in San Jose and seven years in Miami before I moved up to Plantation.
I attended Seminole Middle School and went through the awkward stages of being the new kid and not knowing anyone. Eventually I met a few friends and made acquantances that continued on through to South Plantation High School.
I have a brother who is only 14 months younger and we share a lot of the same friends. I live with my mom and step dad with two dogs.
My social life really began my freshman year when I met some of my best friends and in my junior year I met the rest of my friends. I also met my present girlfriend. It's kind of a fairy tale. We met and became best friends. I grew to like he...Expand for more
r and then eventually love her. She didn't feel the same way but we didn't let that end things so we continued being best friends.
The first couple of years after high school were directionless. I had no idea what I was going to do. I stopped going to BCC and started working. I had a lot of odd jobs but ended up at the airport and have been there for the past two years.
On May 25, 2003, Yanexy Coteron (best friend and owner of my heart) declared her love for me in a kiss. I was shocked but quite happy! We decided to be together June 3, 2003 and that's where I am.
I also have recently left the band that I have been playing in since February of 2002. It was a hard decision but it had to be done. I am still planning to write/play music and go back to school.
That's where I am and it sure is awesome.
