I did two tours of Viet Nam right out of high school. I was involved with the Phoenix Units as a Special Operations Group. I was wounded three times, shot down over the Cambodian border and listed as Missing in Action. I guess not everyone knew I made it back, and maybe thats why I never got invited to the class reunions. 2007 was not a very good year for me, I guess the stress of my work finally caught up with me and I suffered two strokes. After 30 years of working as an adjuster, fraud investigator & private investigator, I am now disabled and no longer work. The stroke affected my trigger finger so I guess thats Gods way of telling me to change. I am now trying my hand at photography, woodwork and writing. I'm married for the second time and I have been blessed with 5 children and 3 grandkids. My oldest, Rhonda, is married and living in Fort Stockton, she has two boys. My oldest son, Raul, is living in Austin and no kids yet, Ruby is also in Austin and has 1 boy, Kellie and Jon Derrick (JD) are still in school and at home in Edinburg. My first marriage was a disaster and I got out of that one with my kids.
