Ravi's Story
Life
Born in Scranton, PA. Moved to Delran, NJ when I was 4. Spent K-12 in Delran. Went to Temple University and got a BS in Computer Science and a minor in Math in 1991. Worked for Boeing for 4 years and then decided to start my own business. At this point, I changed my last name to my mother's maiden name for personal reasons, so those of you who knew me as Ravi Roy, would look me up as Ravi Benedetti. Moved to King of Prussia, PA in 1997. Went through several startup companies and one very successful IPO. Moved to Palo Alto, CA in 1999. Moved back to King of Prussia, PA by mid-2000 (the dot.com bust kicked my ass). Got married in 2001 to my one true love. Started anoth...Expand for more
er business in the IT Governance and Business-Technology space. Moved _back_ to Delran in 2004, since I was mostly working from home. Completed an executive MBA at Drexel in 2005. Am currently working for Comcast in Center City Philadelphia as an IT Strategy consultant to their Commercial and Wireless business units. My hobbies include working, working, and working ... I do still go to the gym, though I am unrecognizably out of shape ... I am a part-time singer in a few different projects.
Bottom line... still awaiting enlightenment.
