Ray Carthy:

Always a problem solver, Ray began his formal career as an administrator for Boston University, at the helm of housing operations and overflow management. He was the first to house over 500 entering and international students in off-campus hotels such that students and parents had no complaints. He went on to become a senior program manager for AT&T, Comcast and Media One companies before heading his own business technology consulting firm delivering consulting services to major companies such as T-Mobile, Echostar, and The Weather Channel. Raised by a former draughtsman, real estate broker and current appraiser, Ray’s initial interests lay in architecture. With such a background, it didn’t take long for him to merge his interest in IT with design and development. He first provided the seed funding for a site location, construction and development project design and management firm and then later co-founded a similar enterprise as well as a real property holding company. As a C-level management consultant focused on IT efficacy and project management, he is particularly adroit at bridging the gap between technology and business operations through the alignment of people, policy, process and procedure. Ray holds a Masters of Science in Mass Communication from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard College.".
