Life
hi everyone.. i've been living in san francisco for 24 years now. i have been working with northwest airlines cargo for 25 years and it is this job that brought me to san francisco where i met my wife, Pai , 19 years ago. we have been married for 11 yrs. no kids. i met my wife in a thai restaurant in s.f. where she was the chef. we opened our own thai restaurant 7 years ago in the japantown section of the city. In those 7 years we have been awarded best thai restaurant in san francisco by the "best of citysearch" twice and the other times we finished a close 2nd. even with that recognition everyday is a new challenge and its never easy. but its fun most of the time and we met alot of good people along the way.
Pai has been cooking since she was a little girl and this was always her dream.
i really enjoy hiking in northern california and there are some spectacular place...Expand for more
s just a 20 minute drive out of san francisco overlooking the pacific and hardly any people. its nice to get away for and hour or two and feel like a million miles away from the city. the surrounding beauty is what i like about living here.
in my spare time i also like to go to concerts at small venues and the bay area always seems to have alot of places like that.
i have done some traveling also. i gone all over mexico avoiding the touristy spots and loved it. that was in the 80s. since i met pai i have been to thailand 8 times to visit her family and that is really great. she is from an area that doesnt get alot of tourists and i really get treated well when im there. thai people are really great.
