Ray's Story
Life
Life is good here in beautiful Spokane. I've been married to Kim for over five years (we met at Wazzu), and our cat rules our world (don't they all). Since high school I have lived in Portland, Minneapolis & Pullman. But I have been in Spokane for over eight years, and don't anticipate leaving anytime soon (although, with the right opportunity...). Things have gotten better since we sold our house (in four days, no less!). If nothing else, life has gotten simpler. But I work in TV, so calm is no longer in my life. I try & stay busy at home (reading, TV, computers, cooking), but wandering about is always good. I tend to end up at bookstores, sporting events and restaurants. Kim & I both love to travel, as well. And we love being with friends, as friends are so important. I cou...Expand for more
ld complain, but that takes too much energy. I'd rather look on the good side of things. And, right now, things are good.
School
What can one say when he went to three high schools? Although I have very good memories of my times at Thomas Jefferson HS (Federal Way/Auburn) and Marshall HS (Portland), I only spent one year at each. I feel that Evergreen HS, although I didn't graduate from there, is where I felt most comfortable. I spent two years there, and the names have stuck with me after all these years. Evergreen was the place I started to figure out who I was, and although my diploma says Marshall High School, I still think of myself as an Evergreen Wolverine first. Too much was learned, too much fun was had. Those years in White Center were key in developing the person I am now.
