Life
Visit michiganbauers.com for current info. After H.S. I went to school in NYC. Received my art degree from Parsons School of Design. Spent a few years as an Art Director at a small ad agency in the City and was transferred to Silicon Valley in California. I met my wife Cheryl there and had a son out there.
I spent over 15 years in the Bay Area but it got too expensive and too crowded so we moved closer to Cheryl's family. I'm in Grand Rapids, Michigan now since 2000. 001. Grand Rapids is a great community. A slower more enjoyable lifestyle then either NY or CA. Cheryl can be a stay-at-home mom, not much traffic & I love the change of seasons. Plus we're only 3 hrs to Chicago if we want a big city or to visit my sister who lives there.
I have another sister still on Long Island so we get back once every couple of years. Because of classmates, I hooked up with Joe Rosenberg and visited with him in 2003. Hadn't seen him since my wedding in '89. We had a blast of a time.
