Raymond's Story
Life
Hmmmm. I'm going to try and make this short. After John Jay High School and working at Record World I went to Dutchess and while I was there I ended up getting a job at WPDH as a DJ, then a job at Berties in Poughkeepsie spinning on the Wednesday Alternative Dance Music Nights (which is still a highlight for me). After WPDH I got a job at WDST in Woodstock and then moved to Boston to play with my band Bitter Little Dutchboy for 3 1/2 years then I moved to Brooklyn after getting a job at a start up label callled Artemis Records a few months shy of 30 years old. I ended up working with Warren Zevon, Steve Earle, The Pretenders, Russell Crowe (I still work with Russell'...Expand for more
s music to this day...check out Russell Crowe & The Ordinary Fear Of God at iTunes). 4 years ago I took a job to run the radio promotion department at Lost Highway Records in Nashville (Ryan Adams, Lucinda Williams, Donavon Frankenreiter, Elvis Costello, The Jayhawks, Johnny Cash etc) and also at Island Records and basically I get our records played on the WDST type stations in the US...it's called Adult Alternative. I've never been married and I'm single in Nashville and own a few condos downtown. There! That's the past 19 years in a nutshell. I don't play my own music much anymore but I have a myspace page for it for fun-just search bitter little dutchboy. Cheers, Ray
