Ray's Story
Ray is a native of Chico and married Miss Nancy McConnell (from San Carlos) in 1976. He attended local schools and graduated from CSU Chico in ITEC (Construction Management) and later completed post grad work. He was a builder and developer for over 30 years and currently owns and operates Ray Johnson Real Estate.

two tours in Vietnam (67-68) and was stationed state-side as an instrument instructor pilot upon his return.
Ray's long-time interests are still flying, fly fishing, snow skiing and mentoring men. His recent interests include: being a new grandpa, writing nonfiction, learning piano and leading a Young Marrieds Bible study group with Nancy.
One of Ray's favorite quotes is: "Be ready to preach, pray or die at a moment's notice."
