Raymond's Story
Life
Since our graduation, I completed my engineering degree at KU and in the process became a huge Jayhawk basketball fan. I met my wife during my junior year and we were married in '97. I then began work at Chrysler in '95 as a product engineer where I helped design several vehicles including the Dodge Intrepid and Caravan. While working at Chrysler, I earned my masters in engineering. I left DaimlerChrysler in 1999 to attend Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern in Evanston. I graduated with both an MBA and masters in engineering management in June of 2001. In July 2001, I began work in the mutual fund industry as investment analyst for Invesco Funds completing short stints in NYC, Houston, Atlanta, and Louisville. ere blessed with triplets in May of 2002, two boys and a girl. We completed the family in September of 2003 with another girl. While in Louisville, I began work as a corporate credit analyst covering multiple sectors including autos, homebuilding, restaurants, hotels, cruiselines, retailers, and REITs. In 2013, I was transferred to our headquarters in Atlanta. Stephanie and I found a little inburb, Decatur, where we built our new home not too far from my midtown office. We took advantage of being close to the world’s busiest airport - taking our children on trips several times a years so they have now been to over 40 states and several countries. We continue to visit Naperville 2x a year, usually over the 4th and Christmas. Hope all my fellow Redskins are happy as well.
