Raymond's Story

Well, I went and did it! I went to Clown College right after Tolman and then toured with Ringling Bros and Barnum and Bailey Circus four five years. While criss crossing the country five times, I learned a little about lighting and found myself in Las Vegas in 1995 working for the largest production show in history do that date. I spent three years working at the MGM Grand as a Lighting Technician and then decided that I hadn't quite gotten the performing bug out of me yet, so I went to Japan for two months to perform in a show at a theme park only to move back to Vegas and help open Mandalay Bay in 1999. I had one more adventure in me though and ...Expand for more
moved to New Orleans to perform at the Harrah's casino for a year and a half landing right back in Las Vegas afterward. I have been in Las Vegas now since the spring of 2001 and have been working for MGM/Mirage, going between Bellagio, New York, New York and MGM as a Lighting Tech for Cirque Du Soleil productions. Though I work in Las Vegas, I now live about an hour away in a rural community with my wife, our son and two dogs. I know this is a long story, but believe me, this is the watered down "clean" version. Thanks for reading and I hope this finds anyone who reads it in good health, spirit, and/or sense of humor. Always, Ray LeClair (Ray Ray)
