Raymond's Story
Anyone who remembers me knows I got kicked out before I could actually be a part of the 'class of 62' that finished, but saying so got me into this web site.
After getting out of the Navy, I made a living playing drums in various bands for the most part, taking 'day' jobs only when a band wasn't making enough to get by on.
I met and married the girl of my dreams in 74. The dream ended in 95 when she came to her senses and divorced me. We had three boys together, who are all in the Army. The oldest at 28, is a Lakewood cop and a Chinook pilot in the Reserve. At 25, the old...Expand for more
est twin is in Special Forces, and the youngest is a Military Intellegence officer.
After disco made playing live music passe, I went to work for Martin Marietta, later Lockheed Martin. (Go figure, a screw-up like me ended up being a rocket engineer)
I left there in 97 after the Titan Project was over. (Read laid-off) Since then I have been driving 'over the road' in all 48 States as an owner/operator of a semi truck. I've put nearly 1.1 million miles on this, my 2nd truck, and am thinking it's about time to retire.
I moved from Denver to Clarkrange, TN in April of 08.
