Raymond's Story
After graduating in June '68, I entered the US Army serving six years active duty with tours in Vietnam and Okinawa. After leaving the active service I went on to serve 17 years in the Army Reserve and National Guard. I retired as a Sergeant First Class in 1991. I have two children from my first marriage; a son, Travis (32) and daughter, Helen (28). From them I have five grandchildren with one more on the way. I remarried in 2006 to my lovely wife, Cynthia, whom I have known since I was seven. She has two children; a daughter, Laura (30) and son, Brian (25) from them we have two more grand...Expand for more
children. I have worked in a variety of fields in my adult lifetime. I have been a shoe salesman, insurance salesman, recruiter, pastor, and currently work in activities with seniors in an asisted living setting and love it. My memories of San Pedro are very sweet and special as I only attended six months during my senior year; how-ever, I met so many wonderful people through the Drama Club and National Thespian Society, and through Xavier Hermosillo, who was very instrumental in getting me introduced to my senior class. I hold San Pedro in very high regard and think of my classmates often.
