Raymond's Story
After graduation Bill Porter and I traveled to Fremont Nb. and Midland College (now University). By the start of our regular season we had both earned starting positions on defense. Bill stayed with it and played 4 yrs. I dropped out and was drafted in the summer of 1970. I served 18 months and 10 days in the army mostly in Viet Nam.
I married my first wife in Il. And had 2 children, Kim and Jeb. We move...Expand for more
d to Colorado in 1976 where I became a General Contractor. Divorced in 83 I stayed busy raising kids and remarried in 87. That lasted a year and I was single again. I met my wife of 26 yrs. in 1992, We were married in 93 which began the best years of my life. I closed my contracting business in 2012 and have been traveling and enjoying all the good times. I have 5 grandchildren and 1 great grand daughter.
