Raymond's Story
As I look toward retirement I finally have time to wonder about the ones I knew in high school. I already know that almost everyone I called "friends" has died. Most people who see this will remember that in school I was a loner, but that was then. After the Army I left Bakersfield and didn't look back. My wife Pat and I moved to Santa Rosa for a new start..I am a Respiratory Therapist and an RN. Over the past 40 years I've been involved direct care, management, creating new programs,and improving the healthcare fields. retire, but I need to spend more time with our family compound "farm" just north of town. Along the I've let my programing skills slide to the point where I fix others network issues instead of writing new apps. My 3 kids are currently living at the farm,so we are back to a large close family. As anyone with space knows, the chores expand to fill all available time. We love to travel. We rarely get back to Bakersfield, even though My sister still lives there. Honestly, the only thing I miss about living there is Dewars. Thats it in a nutshell. I never thought that I would be posting something like this. I may add more later. So HELLO to you all.
