Raymond Childers:  

Life Our Class graduated June 2, 1978, on June 9, 1978 I entered service with the U.S. Army. I was sent to Fort McClellan, Alabama for Basic training and the Military Police School. I served nine years in the service of our country from Hawaii to Germany and back to Hawaii where I received my discharge. I attained the rank of sergeant/E-5 during this time. It was also turbulent with the death of my son during birth in September of 1982 at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Also with the birth of my daughter, in Hilo, Hawaii with Spina Bifida in 1986. My Daughter, Mamie Roberta Keakealani Childers is doing well at a good age of 22in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Took her to see her Gma and Great Grandma (she turns 94 in September 2008) for Turkey day in 2007.
