Raymond's Story
Currently I am writing a second book. Don't know how to publish yet but one is ready and the other is more fun to write. Still love art work and have painted a few goodies.
Spent spent nealy fourty years as an electrician, the last fourteen of which was as an Electrical Inspector for the State of WA, out of Mount Vernon, WA.
Grand kids in the fourtys now. Am living with 15 of them in an apt below that family.
Got lots of love and satisfaction, if you don't count the Physcotherapy! Serious!
Been to Hawaii 25 times so far and Cancoon once! Probably wont repeat that last visit unless I go alone.
Been working out a lot. Went into a body builder's show in 1987. In a contest of two men in the over 40 (47) novice I got second place. Yet I receivedbest posing routine of teh show. Currently I am loosing some weight and gaining strength. Repping 250 # bech press and 290 # lat pulls. Also doing 700 # on the leg press and 60# on the preascher curls.
Got religeon. The first thing I have ever stuck with, now almost fifty years. Am a High Priest in the LDS church and Am serving as a part time service missionary for the church. Also am a facilitater at a local addiction recovery meeting.
How do I hope old freinds remember me?

This year, 2016 I passed 76. And moved into a new home. My wife, Carla swears this is the LAST move she will ever make.
I'm not pumping Iron any more.
I love to walk a certain beach on Camano Island. Mabana Beach It's a county beach so one doesn't need a Discovery pass to park their car. I often wished I had company. At low tide there are all kinds of Jade, Jasper, Agate, snow Quartz, Marble and what ever. You need a bucket,
Carla calls them Leaver Rights. In other words, when I bend to pick one up she says, "Leaver Right there!"
I have a little black Pomeranian named Harley. He clings close to me and wont let anyone touch me. He's 15 years old and has the In-bread condition of Shrinking Tracia. He has lost hair and has doggy pattern baldness. I suppose that when he finally goes it will really screw up my Idyllic life. We're such Buds.
My writing has slowed way down. Mostly lost interest. But both projects were special to me. Yet I still feel the urge to get in there and bring them to a conclusion. I have gotten each of them beyond my own familiarity. Thus the writing has sometimes felt awkward and unnatural, But I love that feeling. When writing comes to me as naturally as does talking with a friend.
My first cousin, David Eddings became a famous Fantasy novelist. He published many novels. Me? I can't even get them out of the computer. Hows an agent going to read them?
Sometimes I wish that I had some company.
