Raymond's Story
Life
I retired from the United States Navy in 1992 after 22 years service with the rank of Senior Chief. I graduated from Penn State University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Art Education for Public Schools. I am currently employed by the Hollidaysburg Area School District as an Art Education Teacher. I taught 7th and 9th grade for 4 years and have spent the last 4 years teaching elementary students (K-6) at Foot of Ten and Allegheny One Elementary Schools. I have recently finished my graduate work at Saint Francis University with a Masters in Education. I live with my wife Sharon in Martinsburg Pennsylvania. Sharon is the Mediacl Records Department Manager at U.P.M.C. Beford Memorial Hospital. urity Agency (NSA) Fort George G. Meade Maryland. We Spent 3 years in Hawaii where I was assigned as the Electronic Warfare Training Department Chief at the Naval Submarine Training Center Pacific and 3 years at the Naval Communications Station, Rota Spain as the Fleet Support Division Chief. I retired from teaching in August 2013 after 17 years with the Hollidaysburg Area School District. I give art lessons at the Hollidaysburg YMCA during to winter months and design/create silver jewelry. Turned 62 in July, love camping, boating, golf, fishing, Hilton Head Island and Pensacola Florida vacations. Sharon and I currently live in Pensacola Flordia. I sub as an elementary teacher at Saint Paul Catholic, Elementry School and other schools in the District. Love Flordia and being back around the United States Navy.
