stayed in the Reserves, became an Engineering Duty Officer, working as a Reserve Officer for the Navy. I retired from the Navy in 2003 as a Captain.
Went to work for Kaiser Electronics, designing displays for aircraft. Kaiser was bought by Rockwell Collins in 2001. Five years after purchasing Kaiser, Rockwell decided to move our jobs to Iowa in 2009, and I had to retire. Now do woodworking, circuit design, and miscellaneous projects. Have started a tiny company called h-gnu. Patent has been issued on 23 Oct 2018.
In 1989 I had the good luck to meet Lauren Arnold, and she agreed to be my wife. We have three children, all of whom have graduated from college. We live in Mountain View, CA, and the kids visit as often as they have time.
