Reba's Story
I married Phillip Williiams (class of 65). We had three girls, Suzanne, Libby, and Phyllis. Phil and I ended up in Bridge City, Texas (Southeast Texas on the Louisiana border ).He became a civil engineer with Gulf Oil and I worked for the U.S.P.S as a clerk-carrier. We divorced after 17 years of marriage. He is still single,living in Texas ,and I remarried 2 years later to Glenn Wallace of China, Texas. He was a widower with 2 boys so we blended our families and by the Grace of God, raised them! Glenn worked for Texas A&M University Research Center in the Entomology Dept. I worked part time after that, doing secretarial work and being a full time mom to five. Glenn and I have been married for 28 years and now live in Heber Springs, Arkansas. for us ,as he loves trout fishing (not to mention grilling and eating them), and kayaking, gardening, camping, and traveling with our rv chapter of Good Sams(Sugar Loaf Sams). All of our children live in Texas. We have 13 grandchildren and 2 greats, only 3 of them being girls! I love my life and would not trade one minute of it because of where it led me.. We have a wondertul church family at Tumbling Shoals Baptist Church and many friends in our club. I make costume jewelry with a plan to sell it, but I can't bear to part with any of my creations yet. I cook in huge quantities and freeze it in gallon zip locks. We both love Cajun cuisine, so I never have enough gumbo on hand. I make healthy soups and enjoy trying to keep the freezer full so Glenn can pick and choose what meals we'll enjoy next! Then I start cooking again!
