Rebecca's Story
Life
I have 4 wonderful children - 3 sons and 1 daughter. Each with such fantastic personalities that they keep me on my toes.I worked at Woolrich for 13 years and left to get an advertising degree at Penn College. It was a great time in my life to make this change - along with remarrying; which makes the phrase "three's times a charm" very true indeed. I've had the opportunity to design promotional materials such as Posters/bookmarks and various other products for Brodart as well as furniture.(contrary to what most think - they do...Expand for more
not just sell books). I now work at Infant Development as a TA working with Autistic children. I love the job.
Workplace
I have to say that the job I have now pays less than any job I've ever had but I enjoy it even more. Corporate america doesn't give a crap about it's people -- My father was right -you have to love going to work every day and if not then it's just not worth it. I worked before because I really had to for the money but now that I don't, I can work where I want to and enjoy it. It makes a world of difference.
