Rebecca's Story
I think I know how people remember me. On the one hand many people thought I was loose, on the other , I was an eccentric friend that goofy at times, but someone that tried to stand up for what I thought was right.
Over the years, I've gained knowledge, understanding, and haven't relented in trying to be unique. I'm who I am, and even if no one else understood me, even myself, at times, I've tried to be me.
I'm now married to a wonderful man, my soulmate if you want. He's much older than me, which makes me care so much about him. I never want to...Expand for more
part with him. He's not great looking, doesn't have a great job (moneywise), but he's been there 22 years. cooking for a frat. In fact he's holding three jobs now!
Myself...I'm a supervisor for a security firm, and NO!, you won't find anyone sleeping on my shift!
I've run the gamut of being well paid and miserable and low paid and happy, and I find happiness and being comfortable with things so much better than trying to be something I'm not.
I've made mistakes, and freely admit them, but at the same time, I've earned the accolades I've received.
