Rebecca's Story

Life I moved from Woodland to Eureka, CA in Oct '88. I LOVE the cooler weather, and try to do all my visiting with family in Woodland during cooler months. I have 2 boys, 1 still at home, who is in college ~ I am married to a truck driver (and have driven myself, but not on the road ;-) We have 1 cat, a fish pond, & a backyard full of birds most of the summer. I am not the same person you went to school with. My hair is curly now instead of straight (perms will do that;-) & I have gained a few pounds (I was SO skinny in school, & for years after) email me - - and I will write back. I am tickled to find people that actually remember me, (because I was so quiet and shy,... but not anymore!) I did it ! I got a myspace account ~ and it is fun. ls. One for K, one for grades 1-6, one for 7-9 (moved w/3 months left in 9th grade), one for grades 9-12, and then, many years later, attended an adult ed class, 1 1/2 yrs of Computer Business Ocupation. I didn't get my first computer until about 5 yrs after that class. so everything I know about computers is self-taught ~ Workplace My first job after high school was for a small farming newspaper - typing & stuffing envelopes (yuck) I have worked at a theater (the State in Woodland) a drapery factory, cocktail waitress at the Cedar room, a radio station (KSFM 102 in the 80's), and after moving to Eureka I started selling Avon, and also worked at a pharmacy (in the store & delivery). I still sell Avon, but have expanded to leadership status, where I appoint and train new reps :) I have also become a Watkins Associate ~ tried a few of the products and got hooked ;) NEW -July 25th 2008 ~~ I am a grandma ! ! !
