John's Story
Life
This is John Shaffer I share my life with my love and my beautiful wife Becky. We have had a life filled with adventure and laughter. We enjoy blues festivals, music, bands, and holding hands while walking along the beach. We have one son and two wonderful grandchildren. I have a recording studio and have been working on projects with various recording bands. I still sing and play blues harp. I have had the pleasure of performing with James Cotton, ELO, Kansas, The Tollier Brothers, and a long list of other bands. I enjoy playing the blues. My life is filled with love and I feel so lucky to have such a wonderful life. I have wonderful photos of Becky when she did modeling for two years. It was quite exciting getting all of the negatives. She modeled for local photographers who used her for advertisments. She still is the girl I fell in love with and fits into clothes she wore in high school. The little school girl look suits her. No one I ever met took her place or matched the feelings I get when we are together. She is my soul mate. A true lady who handles all my short comings with a smile and a wink. I have a love for her not to be explained. She has never gave up on me or my dreams. We dream together.

My life is very exciting and happy. My husband John and I have a wonderful time spending life loving and growing together. Our friends are a very important part of our life. We have two grandchildren who are very tallented and who my husband loves to spend as much time with as possible. We own an old queen anne victorian home which we are constantly working on and have a large collection of antique furniture. Our home was once one of the mansions belonging to the Berwind family. John has a recording studio in which I help and I have an antique fetish. We vacation alot and due to his playing in various bands we get to see alot of the country and met many interesting tallented individuals. found a happiness in life that is hard to find and went through alot of trying times to find that it is love that keeps life and family deep in your heart no matter what or who tries to tear it apart. Friends are those who work with you and not against you. And true friends are hard to find but we have been very fortunate to cultivate a great group of true friends. To all of those who are still searching my hopes go out to you to find the love and happiness I have found. My life with John is one of best friends, lovers, and sweet romance. God gave me a gift when he united us. He is my true angel and does so many little things that are always a sweet suprise i.e. picks wild flowers and brings them home hiding behind his back, bought me a plastic piano to practice becoming a musician (ha) He treats me like a princess. As we grow in age we also grow in togetherness. He makes my life worth living as each day I awaken to his sweet smile and the words "I love you and by the way good morning."

I majored in business management and accounting. I went back to school when our son was seven years old. I graduated with a 3.9 QPA. Pretty good for a person who hated to study in high school.
I tried nursing school first but after two patients died in the same day I went home for lunch and never looked back.
I modeled for local photographers for two years. Published in various ads. Was fun and exciting. Was asked to model just six months ago again still thinking. Life is so busy right now. Guess the old gal isn't too bad yet. Ha. Just got back from St. Thomas, John had a recording job there. What a life sitting on the beach with a pina coloda. Going to New Orleans next. Been there quit a few times a night life town. Have a good one.
