Rebecca's Story
Life
I'm very happy here living in Alabama.. I went to Europe in 1975 and stayed there for about a month traveling around and seeing everything i could. I then moved back to the States and worked awhile. Then in 1975 I moved back to Europe lived in Vienna Austria got married and stayed there for two years exploring all the countries and cities. I moved back to the states in 1979 and lived in MO until 1997 when i moved to Alabama where i live now.. I had a child in 1991... worked off and on. Volunteered for the Red Cross and worked the Midwest Flood of '93. I stayed in the medical field getting a degree in medical technology. I was married and divorced and now single.. Im working five minutes from home and live right in the downtown area, it doesn't compare to St.Louis but it will do ... Im raising my daughter who is now 13 and no im not a grandmother yet... ...Expand for more
i pray i have a long way to go before then,, i spend time with friends and love to go out and have fun... i collect antiques and keep a happy medium to my lifestyle .. i still write poetry, love to cook, and had time to go on a cruise a year ago for my birthday .. i still love to travel and found a love for beaches since moving to Ala.. theres something about digging my toes in the sand and getting bit by a sand crab... i love the seafood down here and the weather ... No snow no blizzards and no more digging my car out of snow drifts.... i find that im happy still to this day and content.. well yes i am ... I feel that at my age im still healthy take my vitamins and exercise ... Life can't get any better than that.. I still live one day at a time and still get things done .... ( well somewhat ) I miss my friends back home and keep in touch with most of them .
