Life
I currently reside in Halatom City, TX. I'm taking a break from earning my MBA. I'm currently looking for an IT-related position in the DFW MEtroplex. Man, it's good to be back in God's chosen state (TEXAS). Go Cowboys.
Right after high school, I became a grocery checker for Furr's Supermarkets (gag a maggot) and then went to United (gag a second maggot). I began moving in and out of Lubbock and that has continued over the years. It's nice to leave the insanity of the city and rest in isolated, "We're still here just watching the cotton grow" Lubbock. Lots of people I love live there and watch the cotton grow.
I worked my way through two colleges. I have an AAS from South Plains College in Computer Information Systems and a BBA from Texas Tech in Management Information Systems and English with a specialty in Technical Communication.
I was a very successful SAP consultant prior to the popularity of offshoring and the economic collapse in February 2001 and then the crap that occurred on 9-11-2001. I'm an activist in the fight against immigration and offshoring. I've never been into sharing.
I've had a half dozen marriage proposals but have chosen to remain unmarried. (Why buy the bull when you can get the BS for nothing.)
I am going to buy myself a Nissan Titan when I get a job and I look forward to being a geezer and living in an adult only community.
As for my parents, my mother passed in 1990. The death certificate said "cancer". It should have said "codependency". She took care of everyone but herself.
My daddy dearest remarried a woman who was formerly a "blue book" society type person so that's interesting. A redneck married to a blue book. I'm considering making a sitcom. My daddy dearest still lives in the same house in Lubbock. He finally retired. Well, sort of. He still works but it's not physically strenuous. I don't think he and I are capable of relaxing when it comes to cold hard cash. We just love the stuff too much.

It's so great to be home in the Metroplex. My dad took good care of me when I broke my left tibia at the plateau on January 28. He came to Mesa and acted as my nurse, housekeeper,counselor, cook, junk food runner, and all around caretaker. The 2 weeks he gave me helped me more than anybody can ever know unless you've been there, done that. I wanted him to stay another week because I was scared but he left after two weeks. We settled a lot of things that needed to be settled and we now have a wonderful relationship.
I LOVE TEXAS AND I ADORE THE METROPLEX!!!!!

Funniest: Johnny Lott and Kevin Voyles saying "Tell it" after everything the teacher said.
Ms. Adams, the history teacher, asking if we had any querstions. WTF is a Querstion?
Craziest: The band marching a whole different marching routine during the Palo Duro game and Mr. Anthony throwing that megaphone thing down and walking away after the halftime.
Confession: I was drunker than Cooter Brown at my graduation ceremony.

I hate it but I have to do it because I do enjoy eating more than the average white chick. About the only thing I haven't done is call girl. Only reason I missed out on that is that I have a bad back.
