Rebecca's Story
Life
Hello everyone! It will probably come as no surprise to you that I am a CPA. I have my own firm in Bothell. My husband Tom is a residential remodeling contractor and I am also the CFO of his company.
We live between Kirkland and Kenmore on the top of Finn Hill not too far from Juanita Drive. We have a 9 year old daughter Emma, a 7 year old daughter Dottie, and 2 cats named Blackmail and Monday.
P.E.D. (pre-Emma and Dottie) we were avid scuba divers, campers, bikers, and hikers and look forward to doing all that again when they get a bit older. When I do manage to get a few precious moments to myself, I like to read and also have become a Morrowind/Oblivion fanatic.

008. He has a genetic kidney disease that caused his kidneys to fail. He was in pretty bad shape for a few years and had been on dialysis for 6 months prior to the transplant. A friend of mine from choir donated one of her kidneys to Tom. In October 2007 when Tom was approved for a transplant, I wrote in the choir prayer request sheet for the choir to pray that God would provide a living donor for Tom. Anita read this request and heard a voice telling her "You are the donor. Go get tested." Sure enough, she was a match. Tom and Anita are doing great post-surgery. We call the new kidney The Little Kidney that Could. Tom is practically good as new and we are so grateful to our angel Anita who faithfully followed God's prompting and gave Tom back his life.
