Rebecca's Story
I went to the U of M after graduation and sampled several different majors (pretty much whatever my friends were into, lol) before settling into accounting and computers. After college I married Larry Olson (also class of 70) who had just finished at USNA. We lived a bit in Philadelphia, then San Diego where our two daughters were born. We moved to Washington D.C. while Larry worked on his master's degree in forensic science. Our oldest son was born there. After Larry's graduation we moved to Chicago in 1985 and have been here ever since. Because I was never happy being an only child, we popped out...Expand for more
one more son here, evening things up. Accountants love symmetry and patterns! Larry works very happily for the IRS crime lab (DO NOT give this man any personal information, lol) and I work in a public accounting firm. A few years back I became a life coach, which is really rewarding and gets me out of the back room adding numbers. Our daughters are both married with a baby each (Gotta love being grandparents!), the boys are still sucking down the tuition dollars going to college.
