Rebecca's Story
Life
I am having a blast getting to know my Old friends from Yucaipa. What wonderful people. I have missed them so much.
I live in Parker, Colorado since 1972. I have the honor of making payments on my own home. I have two beautiful daughter's, Amber and Alaina. Amber is living in Portland, Oregon. Which is one of the reason's I've been there seeing other Yucaipa friends. I won't be surprised that she will be going to Japan soon. She is very interested in traveling. Alaina is having a baby in May. I'll be a hands on Grandmother since she, he and baby live in the lower portion of my house. Talk about a controlling mother-in-law. :) Life is good. Not anything like I had planned or imagined -- BUT its good.
I work 4 days a week as a hygienist. I haven't a clue when retirement will be. I would love to have a RV and hit the road one day. Family really keeps me busy. Hopefully I'll live long enough to see all those around me stand on their own two feet. Life is hard and I am lucky I have a job that...Expand for more
helps everyone else live a bit better then they might. My younger brother Tom is a amazing man. His wife fell off a motorcycle 5 years ago. She was in a coma for 6 mos. She does well but needs constant help. There aren't many men like he is. My other brother Mark never married and lives in Boulder. I never give up hope that he will find a woman. He is ageing well So it could happen. My Sister Roslyn lives in California and has two children. Since my grandparents died I have little reason to go to San Berdo anymore. So I don't get to see people there much. This computer has really helped. We all have a story to tell by now.
Love to you all and a wonderful 2007.
Military
Took a dental Assistant course with Jan Nowak in 1971. Those were the days. To bad we didn't join their club and got paid for our experiences with them. Oh, Yes good OLD Norton Air Force Base. What ever were we thinking getting married so young? Well, we weren't obviously.
Won't be long and we'll have a excuse for our minds.
