Life Let's see, where were we? I moved from Lubbock to Midland the summer before my senior year. I greatly missed all my friends I had grown up with my entire life, but it was, after all, the end of the decade that was famous for being all about changes. It was a pretty freaky, very interesting year. The day after HS graduation, I headed for Colorado to be chick singer in a hippie band; lived in a commune in the mountains for awhile. (Hey, it was 1970!) Later moved to Austin, where I got married and had two beautiful, brilliant daughters, Maggie and Nivah, raised organic vegetables, taught Middle Eastern dance at Austin Community College and was chick singer in country swing band. Moved to Dallas, worked for Polygram Records, then to Nashville where I've lived the past 32 years, working in music production, in studios doing session vocals, worked for Warner Bros.
