Rebecca's Story
I'm living in Chicago these days. I am married 16 years this summer. I have a 12 year old daughter. Life is good.
I Listen to music, ride my bike, read and take care of my family full-time.
I never did anything wild in school.
I was born in Rochester N.Y. I moved to Northern California in 1991. I moved to Colorado in 2001. I moved to Chicago in 2001. I'm hoping to stay put for a while.
I always wanted to be a free bird when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a silly idea. As it turns out, they were wrong.
I like to blow off steam by taking off on my bike down the bike path with my IPOD set to some jammin tunes.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Chris Bailey, because we schmucked around San Fransisco together for years. She fell off the map and I can't seem to find her any where. Last seen living in Seattle, Washington..
I love any motor sport. Actually, I enjoy participating more than watching.
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the basement and add on an addition to my bedroom with a deck around the house.. My dream home would be paid for..
My child has taught me that they are ...Expand for more
always listening and they love unconditionally.
If I won $100 million, I'd give a portion of it to a charity for battered women and children, then spend the rest on a college fund for my kid, raise the roof on my ranch and vacation, vacation, vacation.
My current age is 49. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be very old and possibly dead.. I was so completely niave.
I've been out of the work force for about 11 years now. Surprisingly, I'm getting hits on my resume. Looking for a training opportunity or to help a company build from the inside out.
My best friend would tell you I'm reliable and loyal, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as straight forward.
I'm a sporty spice. I do like to dress well in classic style.
I share my home with my husband and daughter, which I find fulfilling.
I used to be a very competitive softball player. Too bad there wasn't much opportunity for women in the field when I was growing up. I later took up dirt bike riding and four wheeling. I love them both. These days it's mostly me and my mountain bike on the bike path. No mountains to climb here.
