I moved to Jasper, Tx in 1972. Moved to Amarillo, Tx in 1974. My son was born in Amarillo. Moved back to Jasper. In 1982, moved back to Elma, Wa, then to Longview, Wa. where my daughter was born. In 1990 we moved to Castle Rock, Wa. I worked at C & L Drive Inn, then later at C & C Speedy Mart, Burger King, then the Longview Work Training Release for 11 yrs

We Monitor Inmates that come to the Work Release straight from prison for their last 2-4 months of their sentence. The Inmates have rooms , a dining room they eat in, a Rec room with TV, pool table, books, coffee pot, and a microwave. A Laundry Room. The Men have two bathrooms with showers. The women have one bathroom. They go job searching, look for work and hopefully go to work, go to the store, Dr. visit relatives etc. The Inmates (Residents) are monitored 24/7. I am a Resident Monitor II. We have on calls, Resident Monitor I and Resident Monitor II. We are guards, secretaries, counselors, phone operators, and a bit more all rolled up into one.
I am now retired and I share a home with my son and 12 yr. old grandson. It has been a transition, but I like where I live and I like my life. I will be on medical disability until I can retire.
Moved to Ks. from Oregon. Made it through Cancer, chemo & radiation treatment. Now cancer free.
Saw my daughter and her 5 kids at Christmas.
