Life
Hi classmates!
You might remember me. I was raised in Tonyville by my grandparents. I attended Jefferson Elementary for 5yrs then Washington Elementary for the 6th grade. I attended Lindsay Jr.High and Lindsay High in the class of '65. I left Lindsay in February 1964 to live with my mother in San Leandro Ca. I finished school in San Leandro and went to work for the San Leandro Post Office in 1965. I resigned in April 1968, worked for Pacific Telephone for 6 months then got a job as Clerk Typist and Account Clerk for Alameda County where I for 6 1/2 years . I joined the Air Force in February 1975 and got married that same year. I was stationed in Atwater, Ca. and Anchorage, Alaska for two years then I left the Air Force to give birth to my son. r Sorting Machine Operator in Oakland, Ca. until they got rid of them in 1994. I worked on other machines and was also an Expeditor for the next 5 yrs. I also worked in office as a staff assistant for Human Resources and Operations and Programs. I retired on March 28,2003.
I am now living in Shasta, Ca. with my second husband who has also retired. My son stayed in the Bay Area.
I am currently employed with the Shasta County Public Health Dept.as a Typist Clerk II assisting in medical and dental care for the children in foster homes. It is a rewarding job and I work with some great people.
My husband and I bowl on a league in the winter months and we are members in a Golf Club, we recently purchased a patio boat and have it moared at Shasta Lake where we enjoy fishing with our friends.
