Rebecca's Story

Life It is September, 2005 and I am looking forward to the 30 year class reunion next month ... Especially since I have never been to one yet. I am hoping to see (and remember) many friends and classmates. The remembering part will probably be the most challenging for me. I lost my yearbooks in a fire many years ago, so I do not have those memories to look back upon. I would really like to have the senior yearbook reproduced and am hoping to be able to find out about this at the reunion. I moved to Nevada in 1990 and have been working for the State for almost 15 years now. The work I do is very rewarding, and challenging. I must admit, I do love my job. My co-workers are like family and we work very well together to provide services to the people of Nevada. I was married to my soul mate in 2003 ... we will be celebrat...Expand for more
ing 5 years together in December. We live on 1.7 acres in Washoe Valley ... which is between Carson City and Reno. The community is a country setting and the people all look out for each other. In these times, that is very comforting. We have many animals ... that are very spoiled. We were never able to have children, so these critters fill in the gap quite nicely. Plus, we do not get thrown in jail for putting them in their kennels (smile). Life has been very challenging for me. But, great lessions have been learned and wonderful friendships have been established. My reward is a wonderful life. The Universe has given me much to be thankful for ... and I thank God for my many blessings. To those who read this ... Take care of yourselves and others. Stay safe and well loved.
