Becky's Story
Life
GOD has truly blessed my life. I am happily married with two little boys. They would die to hear me refer to them that way, but they will forever be my babies! My handsome husband is Sonny, THE love of my life. My oldest son, James is 18 and in Air Force. My youngest, Mason, is 14 and in 8th grade. The men in my life mostly run the show around here, or so they like to think--haha. However, our church life if also very important to us, so we give all the credit where it belongs!! TO GOD!!!
I know it's a shock, but we moved from Clayton County to way down here in the country. We are in Pike County (obviously) and live in Zebulon. Big change from up there!! I'm really loving it way out here. But I must say, it was an adjustment for all of us, but we are blessed to have great neighbors. My daddy bought the property and built a house right next door!!! What can I say? As most of you know, I've mostly always been a Daddy's girl!!! Plus my Mom's right down the road in Williamson, so it's great we're all right here together!
I currently work in the Griffin/Spalding Co. school system. I've been in the school system for 14 years now. I love my work because I love working with the kids at school! They are a handful, but so much fun and I learn something new from them ...Expand for more
everyday. I work with the elementary kids and they truly are special, along with all of our staff. I happen to think that "my kids", as I say, are the best, anyway. However, I still get shocked by what they know. They are not naive like I was, that's for sure!!! I also love being at home with Mason when he is out of school for the summer and on holidays. We are a family of readers. Not a really exciting past time compaired to some things, but I know my boys have fabulous imaginations and great thinking caps, and I just love spending time gabbing with them. They love to talk almost as much as I do!!! hahaha Reading is just something we all love to do, and I think we are all smarter (maybe-ha!) for it. We also do a lot of bike riding, four-wheelin', motorcycle ridin' (me crashin'), swimming, fishin' and walking dirt roads. We certainly ain't ashamed of going bare-footed! We just recently got a pool, so that has been fun, too. There just isn't a whole lot to do in Zebulon! They roll up the sidewalks around here about dark. so that is where the imaginations take over. haha
It was fun attending the 20 year reunion. I see not too many of you guys got fat & sassy like I did!! I would love to catch up with all my friends from school. Sure have missed some of you guys!!!
